Leishman starts well

Aussie Marc Leishman is in a tie for fifth place after the opening round of the Nationwide Tour Championship in Texas. Leishman shot the most birdies on the day with eight, but four bogeys left him at four-under par, three strokes behind leader Darron Stiles. The American had a bogey-free round on his way to seven-under par to hold a one shot lead over Jeff Klauk, with Garrett Osborn and Spencer Leven a further stroke back in third. Gavin Coles made an impressive start to be at three-under par, while Greg Chalmers and Jarrod Lyle are also in with a chance at two-under. Aron Price is at one-under, but Won Joon Lee (even-par) and Ewan Porter (+2) will have to improve if they are to challenge the leaders come the weekend.
