The semi-final rounds of the 2013 Women’s Amateur Championship were conducted today and saw Victoria s Grace Lennon take on Launceston golfer and former Amateur Champion over 18-holes. Lennon emerged victorious on the final hole winning the match 1up. The second semi-final saw local member Sarah Johnstone encounter Western Australia s Hayley Bettencourt. Bettencourt was too strong for Johnstone winning 4&3. Lennon and Bettencourt will decide the championship tomorrow at the Ulverstone Golf Club with the 36-hole final commencing at 8.00am.
