At the Annual Penrith Valley Sports Foundation Awards night at Penrith Panthers on 11th September Les Knox received the Sports Administration Award that was sponsored by Penrith City Council for his involvement over the past forty years with Junior, Senior and Veteran Golfers.
Les is currently a Life Member of Leonay Golf Club, President Western Sydney Region Veteran Golfers Association (WSRVGA) and Tournament Director of NSWVGA Strokeplay Championships which is also a Golf NSW SOOM event.
