Live Action Blog – Sunday, Final Round

As it happens: womensaustralianopen.com.au will blog all of the action, as it happens, on every day of the 2013 ISPS Handa Women&aposs Australian Open. 6:20pm – Sunday, February 17 Jiyai Shin has claimed the 2013 ISPS Handa Women&aposs Australian Open by two shots from world number one Yani Tseng. Shin shot a -1 in the final round to finish at -18 for the tournament, with her final round playing partner Lydia Ko falling away on the final day to finish third with -14. It is Shin&aposs first Women&aposs Australian Open victory after she lost in a play-off to Karrie Webb in 2008. Check out the final leaderboard here. ==== 2:19pm – Sunday, February 17 It was a mixed start for our joint overnight leaders. Jiyai Shin birdied the 1st, but teenage sensation Lydia Ko was unable to match her, with a double bogey putting her immediately three shots behind. A bogey on the 2nd didn&apost help Ko&aposs chances either, with Shin enjoying a healthy lead early in the second round. Check out some of the new video content from today here. ==== 11:12am – Sunday, February 17 After starting the day at even-par, Line Vadel Hansen has enjoyed the early morning play, shooting 5-under par. Cheyenne Woods finished Ev both for the day and overall. Jessica Korda is also putting in a good shift on the last day, shooting 3-under thru 13 to sit at 6-under par overall. Karrie Webb is also underway, even-par after the first hole. ==== 8:15am – Sunday, February 17 We&aposre in for a tantalising final day at Royal Canberra, with Lydia Ko and Jiyai Shin both sitting in the lead at -17 Round 3 has come to a close, with both Lydia Ko and Jiyai Shin tied for the lead at 17-under par. They lead the chasing pack by six shots, with Beatriz Recari in outright third with -11 and five players at -9 including Gwladys Nocera, Yani Tseng and Mariajo Uribe.
