Nagy, Martin pick up Manager's Awards

Nora Nagy of The Coast and Grant Martin, CEO of Twin Creeks have picked up the CMA Awards for 2018.

Bathurst, Stonecutters named Clubs of the Year

Bathurst Golf Club has been named the Golf NSW Coutnry Club of the Year while Stonecutters Ridge has picked up the Metropolitan award at the Golf NSW Industry Awards tonight. 

Bathurst CEO Brad Constable paid tribute to his team and Board of Directors saying a good job is done becasue of the great people behind the scenes. 

Stonecutters Ridge CEO Craig Scott was thrilled to recieve the award for Western Sydney Club that has strived to be as inclusive as possible since its opening,

WIndred, Choi named Players of the Year

Newcastle's Blake Windred and Concord's Doey Choi have bneen named the Male and Female Athletes of the Year at the NSW Golf Industry Awards night. 

WIndred, currently in Western Australia preparing for the Western Australian Open, thanked his co nominees and the work of the Golf NSW High Performance Program, his coaches, and his family.

Choi thanked her coach Dean Kinney, and her fellow nominees Kelsey Bennett and Sophie Yip.

 

Roseville Golf Club honoured with the Jack Newton Junior Golf Club Junior Program of the Year

JNJG CEO Mr Peter Van Wegen has presented Mr Paul Carey, Captain of Roseville Golf Club, with the award for Club Junior Program of the Year. 

Roseville Golf Club has an outstanding program that includes Juniors on the Move and representation in all forms of Junior Pennant.

Other awards presented include the AGCSA NSW Division awards, including Outstanding Achievement to David Stoner of Bayview, Outstanding Performance and Dedication to Cameron Butt, of Moore Park, Graduate of the Year to Jordan Phillips, and Superintendent of the Year to Peter Donkers of Long Reef Golf Club.

The outstanding performance of trainees and students has been recognised by AGCSA with Jordan Phillips of Newcastle GC and Sam Rose of Atlas Turf recognised, while Avondale GC James Beileiter was awarded the Certificate V Tafe Scholarship for his outstanding studies.

The NSW Golf Industry Awards are underway at Curzon Hall, Marsfield. It is a beautiful night and the game's finest clubs, players, facilities and volunteeers will be recognised tonight.
