Launceston Golf Club member Greg Longmore captured the Golf North West championship at the weekend.
The former State team member carded scores of 68 and 68 around Woodrising for a four-under-par total of 136.
Longmore claimed the North-West title by five stroke in front of 19-year-old Ulverstone Golf Club member Ben Lewtas.
Lewtas returned scores of 71 and 70 for a one-over-par total of 141 and was followed by Launceston Golf Club member Mitch Van Noord in third on 142 (+2).
Kington Beach Golf Club’s Elijah Stanley won the junior scratch event with scores of 78 and 74, a total of 152 (+12).
Local member Paul Burke comfortably took out the senior section of the championship carding 78 and 77.
