rnJeon began the final round with a two shot advantage over Takesue with Kim and Li-Ying Ye a further shot back.  Jeon rarely found herself in danger on the last day; Takesue got within one shot after a birdie at the second but fell away with bogeys at the 8th and 13th holes. Kim made a run at the leader with back-to-back birdies at 7 and 8 but also made bogeys at 13 and 16.

rnJeon moved to 12-under with a birdie at the 10th hole, a lead of three. She could afford two bogeys (13 and 17) over the final holes and cruised in with a final round of even par. Until this week, the Tour had 14 different winners in 14 events this season before Jeon collected her second of the year. After her round she said, “It was windy out there and I had a sore lower back today, so I wasn’t as good as in the first two rounds but I managed to hold on for the win. My next goal is to make a Top-10 finish in the US Women’s Open next month.”

rnNikki Campbell notched her 8th Top-20 finish in a row finishing 11th after rounds of 70, 71 and 72.  She remains 11th on the Money List with ¥26,271,475 (approx. AUD$332,334) in year to date prizemoney.
