rnJapanese superstar Sakura Yokomine clinched her first title of the year at the Elleair Ladies Open on Sunday. Her four round total of 11-under was 4 shots better than Japan’s Midori Yoneyama who was a stroke ahead of compatriot Ai Miyazato.

rnYokomine had been agonisingly close to winning a number of tournaments throughout the year started the day with a one-shot lead. She then went on a birdie blitz on the front nine, shooting six birdies to go out in 30. An even par back nine saw her comfortably record her much sought after victory to collect the winner’s cheque for 16,200,000
