Lucky Number Five at Woodlands

Joel Mitchell has lit up the Woodlands Golf club, shooting a five under par 67 to win the boys section of the Golf Australia Junior Tournament at Woodlands.

Mitchell had four birdies throughout his round and an eagle on 18 to take the title by one from Jasper Stubbs on 68.

In the girls section Keeley Marx capped off an exceptional week of golf shotting a two under par 72 to win her fourth tournament in five days.

Harrison Muller provided the highlight of the day making a hole in one on the 168m par three 5th.

The Perc Morling Trophy and Liz Bruton Trophy were awarded by the Woodlands Golf Club to the boy and girl with the best stableford score.

Liz Bruton was on hand to present the trophies to winners Harrison Crawford (44 points) and Claire Wu (39 points).

In A Division Tyler Talbot had a nett 65 to win by one shot from Joel Mitchell.

In B Division Taegen Dodds came out on top with 69 after a countback between himself, Louis Van Ingen and Harrison Muller.

Perc Morling Trophy winner Harrison Crawford also took out Division C with 44 points over Caiden Xing on 43.
