Luna takes lead in France

Italy&aposs Diana Luna holds a two-stroke lead at the halfway mark of the Ladies Open de France, with Australian Stacey Keating second. Luna was in sensational touch at the Chantaco Golf Club in Saint-Jean-de-Luz on Friday, carding a six-under-par 64 in her second round to move to nine under for the tournament, two shots ahead of Keating, who carded a one-over 71. A trio of women sit another two strokes behind Keating on five under – Spain&aposs Carlota Ciganda, Frenchwoman Anne-Lise Caudal and Germany&aposs Anja Monke, who shot the round of the day with a seven-under par 63. England&aposs Danielle Montgomery, France&aposs Valentine Derrey and American Hannah Jun are a shot further back on four under, with Australian Sarah Kemp, England&aposs Rebecca Hudson and South Africa&aposs Lee-Anne Pace heading a group of seven women on three under. Nikki Garrett and Bree Arthur are the best of the rest of the Australians on one over the card, with Rebecca Artis the only other Aussie to survive the cut on four over. Sydney-born veteran Karen Lunn was not as fortunate, and she has her weekend free after finishing on seven over the card.
