Lydia Ko makes Friday run

World No. 1 Lydia Ko has made her run in the ISPS Handa Women's Australian Open, holing out from long range for eagle at the par-four 15th hole.

Ko, who began the day two shots from the lead, took top spot on the leaderboard outright when she eagled the 15th with an amazing short iron shot, following birdies at the 10th and 13th holes this morning.

Through six holes of her second round the New Zealander is three-under-par for the day and six-under for the tournament, one shot ahead of Korean Ilhee Lee, who is yet to tee off in the second round.

Fog delayed play by 20 minutes this morning but a warm day is forecast.
