Lyle just off pace

Australian Jarrod Lyle has finished outright second at the Xerox Classic Nationwide Tour event in New York. Lyle finished on nine-under par, four shots adrift off eventual winner Brendon de Jonge who ended up on 13-under. American duo Ricky Barnes and Jonathan Fricke finished in a share of third position with Englishman Greg Owen (eight-under). Greg Chalmers and Marc Leishman (three-under) were the next-best Aussies behind Lyle in equal 19th spot while Won Joon Lee was two shots further back in a tie for 29th position. Meanwhile, David McKenzie and Cameron Percy finished even for the tournament and Scott Gardiner (two-over) ended up 15 shots off the Zimbabwean champion.
