Bryden Macpherson opted to play the front 9 on Tuesday in a practice round with former Australian Open champion John Senden. Senden has recorded three top ten finishes already in 2012 with a tie for sixth at the Humana Challenge followed later by a tie for 9th place and a tie for 6th place at the WGC Accenture World Match Play and WGC Cadillac Championship respectively. Macpherson handled the humid conditions well and both players were impressive on the outward nine. For Senden this will be his third time at Augusta National having missed the cut in 2008 and 2010.
