Matthew claims Brazil Cup

Back-to-back three-under-par rounds of 69 has seen Catriona Matthew win the Brazil Cup tournament on the LPGA Tour. The 39-year-old Scot, who is five months pregnant with her second child, finished five shots clear of American Kristy McPherson. Local woman Angela Park finished in third place, but she&aposll be disappointed her three-over-par round. American Laura Diaz finished in fourth at four-over, one shot clear of compatriot Allison Fouch and Korean Jimin Kang. The inaugural two-round unofficial event featured a 15-player field and a money purse of US$500,000 (AU$765,000). It was also the LPGA Tour&aposs first ever tournament in Brazil.
