All players, caddies, officials and spectators attending Golf Victoria Pennant on Sunday 22 March are advised that there will be significant road closures in place around Melbourne due to the staging of the annual Herald Sun/CityLink Run for the Kids charity event and the IRONMAN Asia-Pacific Championship.
In order to reach Pennant venues in a timely manner (especially to meet stated hit-off times), all players, caddies, officials and spectators are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the various road closures around Melbourne’s CBD and other major roadways including the Bolte Bridge northbound between the Westgate Freeway and Footscray Road; the Domain tunnel westbound; the Nepean Highway between Frankston and Mordialloc and EastLink southbound between Springvale Road and Frankston Freeway.
