Member fun at Commonwealth day

More than 50 Crown Lager Social Golf Club members took on Commonwealth Golf Club&aposs championship layout on Monday in Melbourne. Former host to a Men&aposs Australian Open and two Women&aposs Australian Opens, the sandbelt layout proved a true test for the CLSGC members who enjoyed the company of Kangaroos forward Drew Petrie and Geelong speedster Shannon Byrnes. Peter Brown, who won the day&aposs competition, said it was a thrill to play on Melbourne&aposs sandbelt. Thanks to Crown Lager and Golf Australia for the opportunity to play at such a great course. It was a superb day and can t wait for the next one to come around,” Brown said. The Crown Lager Social Golf Club offers members the opportunity to play on some of Australia&aposs finest golf courses in exclusive member days.
