The Men’s & Women’s Country Week consist of 3 divisions of round-robin match-play for nominated teams from each of the 15 country districts across Victoria. Played as standalone events since 1924 (Men) and 1933 (Women), the Men play for the Shield (Div 1), Plate (Div 2) and Bowl (Div 3) trophies, while the Women play for the Alice Coltman Cups (donated by the late Mrs O.H. Coltman (1 & 2) and Mrs L. Carstairs (3).
From 2017 onwards, both competitions will be played in conjunction with each other to align with Golf Victoria’s aim to combine as many men’s & women’s state titles.
