Mid Amateur Entries Closing Soon

Entries for the Australian Mid Amateur Championships close at midday on 11 October and places remain available in the field.

Australia’s national championship for players aged 30-54 years is played over 54-holes stroke play. In 2018 it will be played from 7-9 November at The Vines Golf Club of Reynella in Adelaide.

Once again the men’s and women’s champions will receive a grant from Golf Australia to attend the 2019 New Zealand Mid Amateur Championship to be played from 11-13 January at Omanu Golf Club in Mt Maunganui in the Bay of Plenty region on the north island.

Any players who enter the Australian Mid Amateur Championship for the first time will go into the draw to win a $200 The Vines of Reynella Golf Club pro shop voucher.

Situated at the gateway to Adelaide’s southern wine region, The Vines Golf Club of Reynella boasts tree lined undulating fairways of Santa Ana and the greens are acknowledged as some of the best in South Australia.

The $150 entry fee includes three rounds of championship golf, one practice round, presentation drinks and canapés, range balls, pull buggies and a championship gift.

A maximum GA handicap limit of 8.4 for men and 18.0 for women applies.
