Mid Amateur Entries Closing Soon

Entries for the Australian Mid Amateur Championships close at midday on 12 October and places remain available in the field.

Australia’s national championship for players aged 30-54 years is played over 54-holes stroke play. In 2017 it will be played from 8-10 November at Links Lady Bay Resort in South Australia.

For the first time, the men’s and women’s champions will receive an exemption to attend the 2018 New Zealand Mid Amateur Championship to be played from 12-14 January at Omanu Golf Club in Mt Maunganui in the Bay of Plenty region on the north island. Golf Australia will also provide a grant to assist with travel expenses the men's and women's champions.

Situated a one-hour drive south of Adelaide, Links Lady Bay has subtle bent greens and is a true St Andrews style sand based course. It is the number one resort course in South Australia, the number onepublic access course in South Australia, and number 64 in Australia’s top 100 courses.

The $150 entry fee includes three rounds of championship golf, one practice round, presentation drinks and canapés, range balls, pull buggies and a championship gift.

A maximum GA handicap limit of 8.4 for men and 19.0 for women applies.
