The weather gods have greeted the field for the final round of the NSW Mid-Amateur Championship with a crystal clear but very brisk late autumn morning.

It was gloves and mittens for the early groups with the temperature hovering around 5 degrees as the sun popped above the horizon.

There will be a bit of cloud around today, and winds will increase to about 20 km/h from the south-west around midday. Temperatures should hit the mid-teens for the final groups out this afternoon.

Up for grabs for those in contention is not only the Mid-AM Championship but a start in the Men’s and Women’s NSW Opens at Twin Creeks and Queanbeyan Golf Clubs for the victors.

Queenslander Jamie Pitt leads the Men's Championship, while defending champion, Killara's Jan Crichton has a one shot lead in the Women's division.

Stay tuned, check back here or on social media and follow the updates as the play goes on throughout the day.
