Minjee Lee’s quiet patch may be ending soon.
Australia’s top-ranked woman roared home to finish tied-sixth in the Scottish Ladies Open at North Berwick on Sunday.
Lee closed with 64 and 66 at the weekend to push herself right up the leaderboard, albeit finishing nine shots shy of the winner, South Korea’s Mi Jung Hur at 20-under, a tournament record.
But the news is good for Lee, who reached No. 2 in the world rankings when she won in Los Angeles April before a flatter patch. She is currently ranked No. 4.
Fellow-Australian Su Oh also had a good week at North Berwick, finishing tied-13th.
Oh, 23, has earned $US350,000 this season and is inside the top 30 on the season-long points rankings, poised to reach the tour championship.
