Jacquelin Morgan has produced a fantastic second round score of 75 at 13th Beach to lead the Victorian Women’s Senior Amateur by four shots heading into the final round tomorrow.

Morgan, who made the trek down from Sydney, was consistent throughout her round with birdies on the 2nd and 11th being her highlights.

Looking to catch Morgan in the final round tomorrow will be local 13th Beach member Kerrin Biddle.

Biddle sits in outright second four shots back on 157 for the tournament.

Joining the pair in the final group will be Kim Burke (161) and Helen Pascoe (164).

In the women’s net it is Morgan who leads by three from Heather Harley.

The Victorian Men’s Senior Amateur sees 13th Beach’s own Frank Fowler atop the leaderboard after two rounds of play.

Fowler had a fantastic 75 this afternoon and will take a one-shot advantage over Barry Tippett into tomorrow’s round.

Joining the pair for tomorrow’s final group will be Gordon Claney and Greg Rhodes.

Claney and Rhodes sit two and three shots behind Fowler respectively.

The men’s net is extremely tight with Tim Deakin, Marcus Padley and Barry Tippett all level on 142 for the two rounds.

Players will head to the Beach course tomorrow to decide the 2019 Victorian Men’s and Women’s Senior Amateur Champions.
