Peter Senior has opened up a commanding lead mid way through the second round at the NSW Senior Open Championship at Thurgoona County Club Resort.
Senior is at six under par through 13 holes and leads by three shots. 1991 Open Champion Ian-Baker Finch has rocketed into contention, and is currently four under par for his round and now in a tie for second with NSW’s Grant Kenny and Victorian Glenn Joyner, who are yet to being their second round.
Peter Woodward is three under par through 13 holes and is now sitting two under par for the tournament, while overnight leader Craig Warren has slipped down the leaderboard as is currently 4 over par for the day.
Craig Parry has got it back to one-over par for the tournament with two holes to play after his opening round of 77, and Queensland’s Terry Price, is still in the hunt at even par.
