On Wednesday 11th September, JNJG attended a multisport day for kids with disabilities at Cambridge Sports Stadium, and golf was a raging success, proving that it really is a game for everyone.
Kids of all ages, and from all the local schools took part in the day, rotating around from sport to sport and having a go at many sports they normally would not get the opportunity to enjoy. As well as golf, the kids enjoyed basketball, netball, soccer (both normal and wheelchair), rugby league, and T-ball.
The multi-sport day for kids with disabilities continues this month at the State Sports Centre on Thursday 10th October 2013, as part of the Royal Rehab Return 2 Sport Expo at Homebush.
