Jack Murdoch (Kingston Heath) and Alex Hilliard (Commonwealth) are the 2016 Cobram-Barooga Open Amateur Champions.
The event was contested over 72 holes with a field of 75 players competing. Murdoch posted solid scores of 70, 73, 72 & 71 (Total 286) to win by 2 shots from Kyle Michel of Shepparton. Hilliard dominated the women’s field with rounds of 71, 76, 71 & 75 (Total 293) to win by a convincing 15 shots from runner-up Montana Strauss (The National).

The Cobram – Barooga Open Amateur has been allocated to category (i) within this list.
Amateur exemptions will be allocated in order as outlined on the 2017 Oates Victorian Open entry form from category (a) onwards. Therefore, exemption into the starting field for category (i) is dependent on prior exemption categories being fully utilised.
