There are a number of resources available to MYGolf Centre Coordinators to assist with the running of the program. MYGolf Coaching Supplement The MYGolf Coaching Supplement is now available to Centre Coordinators and Coaches to assist them with the planning and running of the MYGolf program at their golf club or school. The supplement includes sample session plans and drills and is comprised of the following three sections: Getting ready to play The first section provides information and guidance on safety, warm-ups and stretching as well as outlining how to organise a group and plan a coaching session. Session Plans This part of the coaching supplement provides a 10 week session plan for each of the three levels of MYGolf – bronze, silver and gold. All key skills are covered as well as some on-course & mental sessions to ensure the MYGolf participants are receiving balanced information. Games and Activities The final section has examples of introductory, intermediate and advanced games that can be used to reinforce the skills taught during the MYGolf sessions. Details on how to set up a modified or indoor golf course is also provided. The MYGolf Coaching Supplement is included in the Centre Kit received by all clubs and schools upon registration for the MYGolf program and is also available for download via the below link.
