MyGolf deliverer of the year

MyGolf co-ordinator and PGA professional at the Royal Melbourne Golf Club, Daniel Whyley, has been named the MyGolf deliverer of the year for 2015.

This year we put the award in the hands of MyGolf participants and had them nominate their deliverer to receive the award. A lot of nominations were received from across the country, however Daniel was the stand-out nominee.

Daniel and his team at Royal Melbourne have implemented a fantastic MyGolf program. Royal Melbourne is the largest MyGolf Centre in the country with 487 participant registrations this year alone.

Royal Melbourne joined the MyGolf program with the vision of implementing the MyGolf framework as the introductory level of their already established junior program and they have certainly done it very well.

As the recipient of the MyGolf deliverer of the year, Daniel was rewarded with an experience at the Australian PGA Championship that included premium hospitality, accommodation and a chance to place the championship course on the Monday.

“The PGA Championship experience was a wonderful way to celebrate what has been a fun and rewarding 12 months of work in junior golf at Royal Melbourne,” Daniel said.

“The overall hospitality at Royal Pines Resort made for a wonderful weekend and it was a great way to meet up with peers in the industry from around the country.”

“The MyGolf interactive zone at the PGA Championship was a highlight – seeing kids showcasing their skills and most importantly enjoying their golf experience.”

“A huge thank you to the Royal Melbourne Golf Club, all those involved in MyGolf and especially to all of the children that were so kind enough to put my name forward for the award.”

Congratulations Daniel on a fantastic year of MyGolf at Royal Melbourne.

The MyGolf Team has appreciated your support of the MyGolf program and looks forward to seeing its success continue.
