MyGolf School Ambassador Golf Day

With many school students making the local golf course their second home for the two-week school holidays, its only fair that the teachers get a chance to get on course too.

The inaugural MyGolf School Ambassador golf day was held today at Kew GC with both a mix of primary and secondary school teachers in attendance. These active golf teachers have been educating and guiding the next group of future golfers, and before they contemplated the start of term 2, it was a chance for them to get out on course one last time. Under a relaxed but competitive 2-person ambrose format, the group of teachers headed out over the back nine of a course no one had played before. Yes, there were a few stray shots to begin with, but I’m positive they were all saving the best ones for their student demonstrations back at school.

As MyGolf School Ambassadors these teachers get access to a range of useful resources that make the transition or continuation of a school golf program as easy as a 1-foot putt. The program aims to support and recognise teachers for their commitment in promoting and delivering MyGolf School programs within their school community.
