MyGolfer of the Month: December 2015

The MyGolf Team congratulates December MyGolfer of the Month, Joshua Ursino.

Despite playing golf for about three years, Joshua didn’t join the MyGolf program at Stonecutters Ridge Golf Club in western Sydney until mid-2015 and slotted straight into the ‘Star’ level.

“At just nine years of age Joshua shows an aptitude for the game,” MyGolf co-ordinator Glen Haynes said.

“He has shown great commitment to improving his golf by attending all of the Saturday MyGolf sessions,” Haynes said.

“Joshua has improved consistently since joining the program.”

In addition to competing in the Stonecutters Ridge Cadets competitions, Joshua entered in a few nine-hole tournaments at nearby clubs.

He managed to successfully place in the top three in all four events – a great achievement!

“Joshua shows extraordinary focus and perseverance in all of the challenges set for him,” Haynes said.

“What has set Joshua apart is his open-mindedness and willingness to try new things in an effort to improve his golf, which is quite rare in someone so young.”

Congratulations on your improvement and achievements in recent events, Joshua. Keep up the good work!

Your MyGolf co-ordinator and the MyGolf Team are very proud of you.
