MyGolfer of the Month: March 2015

The MyGolf team congratulates March MyGolfer of the Month, Connor Haughie, from Mooroolbark, Victoria.

Nine-year-old Connor started playing golf at age four, just like his hero Adam Scott.

Thoroughly enjoying playing mini golf and making courses in his backyard, Connor joined the MyGolf program at Gardiners Run Golf Course last September to further develop his skills.

Connor has been very enthusiastic to learn and improve his golfing skills since joining the program. He has attended every MyGolf session, listens to all instructions carefully and makes sure he puts in 100 per cent.

Gardiners Run MyGolf co-ordinator Aaron Cox believes Connor has a lot of potential as he has already improved his skills in leaps and bounds.

“Connor is very patient and shows great sportsmanship,” Cox said.

“He is quick to help the other kids and tries to make them feel comfortable at all sessions.”

Congratulations Connor, keep up the fantastic work! Your MyGolf co-ordinator is very proud to have you represent Gardiners Run.

Nominations for the April MyGolfer of the Month Award must be sent to mygolf@golf.org.au by 5.00pm on Wednesday, April 29.
