The MyGolf team congratulates Queenslander Jackson Steinhardt as May’s MyGolfer of the Month.
Drawn to golf from a young age, Jackson would quite often spend hours and hours in the backyard hitting plastic golf balls.
Jackson’s love and passion for the game continued to grow quite quickly and resulted him taking up golf over soccer (which he was quite good at) at the age of six.
MyGolf coordinator, Jared Love, was rather impressed with the natural talent Jackson displayed when he first came to Mount Warren Park Golf Club to participate in their junior program around two years ago.
Jackson attends every MyGolf session with great enthusiasm and makes sure he constantly practises everything he has learnt.
“Jackson has become very skilful and has the ability to retain knowledge and information given to him,” Love said.
Jackson has played in a number of junior events over past two years and has managed to claim a few victories. Just recently he won the 7-8 years division at the Australian Junior Age Division Championship held in Yeppoon, Queensland – a great result!
Jackson’s MyGolf coordinator (and coach) is extremely proud of his progression and achievements.
“Jackson has a big future in golf and I look forward to his progress over the coming years,” Love said.
“He is an absolute pleasure to coach.”
