National Manager-Golf Development appointed

Golf Australia today announced that Frances Crampton AM has been appointed as National Manager – Golf Development. Frances brings a wealth of experience to the role and will be responsible for a range of areas including development programs and increasing general participation and membership. Currently the CEO of Women’s Golf NSW, Frances was formerly the CEO and Chairman of the NSW Sports Federation. Golf Australia CEO Stephen Pitt said he was pleased to welcome Frances to the organisation. We are delighted that Frances has agreed to join us, Pitt said. Frances has made an extensive contribution to sport in NSW and most recently at Women’s Golf NSW. I have no doubt she will be an excellent leader in this role for Golf Australia. Beyond that, Frances will be able assist us in various other senior roles in the organisation. Frances said I am very pleased to move into this new role at Golf Australia. I look forward to the challenges and opportunities to grow the game in cooperation with the State Associations. Frances Crampton will commence in the role in early August.
