New website update
Status:
• Three quarters of the way through the website Discovery phase with the appointed agency, AKQA
• To mitigate risk, the project has been broken into three distinct phases; Discovery, Customer Experience (CX) and Development
• Each phase is being treated as a separate project which can use a different supplier should the need arise
• We have been happy with the program of work they have conducted to this point, thus the Marketing & Communicaitons team have asked AKQA to now scope and quote a cost for phase 2
Strategy / Vision:
• Golf Australia’s current website is dated
• With the efficiencies of One Golf in place, the need for a state-of-the-art website to deliver on our business objectives is on track
• Deadline objective: September, three months ahead of AO, Presidents Cup and PGA Champs to capitalise on golf being in spotlight
• Search engine optimisation and marketing are being planned for this launch
