Golf Australia has announced NIKE Golf as the Official Apparel Partner for the MYGolf National Junior Program. Launched during the 2010 Australian Open, the MYGolf program continues to grow. More than 2,500 children are now enrolled and more than 300 facilities and clubs nationally have signed on as Official MYGolf Centres. NIKE Golf apparel will be provided to all registered participants as part of their Welcome Pack. NIKE Golf Brand Manager Derek Hawkins of Axis Golf said the company was keen to support the next generation of golf stars in Australia. MYGolf is moving along in leaps and bounds since it was launched at the end of 2010, Hawkins said. NIKE Golf is pleased to support Australia s National program as the Official Apparel Partner and support the growth of the game at a grass roots level. Golf Australia Golf Development Manager Cameron Wade said Golf Australia was delighted to have NIKE Golf partner Australia s National program, adding to the growing list of national supporters. The industry continues to support the national program and invest in the future of Australian golf, Wade said.
