AIS/Golf Australia National Squad member Daniel Nisbet completed his preparation for the upcoming British Amateur Championship in solid style with a fourth-placed finish at the St Andrews Links Trophy. Nisbet finished with a final round 71 to finish at 1-over par and three strokes behind Irish winner Alan Dunbar who shot a final round 70. The Queenslander was the only Australian to make the cut (+6). Matt Jager, Bryden Macpherson, Brendan Smith and Jason Scrivener spent time fine-tuning their games before the British Amateur next week.
