Nominations Open for JR Development Program

Nominations are now open for the Jack Newton Junior (JNJG) 2016 Boys and Girls State Talent Development Squad Program.

The JNJG Boys and Girls State Talent Development Program (TDE) was established in 2012 with the aim of identifying and developing players that have the potential to be elite amateur players at a national and international level in the future.

The aim is to identify as early as possible junior players (u/18) that have potential to excel at a higher level of competition and to nurture and support these players through the provision of appropriate training and resources.

The program will run from June 2016 till December 2016. The program is a combination of compulsory training camps, fitness assessments and nominated competitions.

Player selection will be made from the received nominations. The JNJG Player Development Manager selects the squad in consultation with the Golf NSW High Performance Manager. A combination of objective and subjective measures are utilised to select squad members.
