The North took an early lead during the first round of the 2019 North vs South Junior Match Play Series today.
The visitors winning 8.5 to 1.5 matches at the Kingston Beach Golf Club this afternoon.
Victorious for the North in the top order were Jack Lakin defeating Mackenzie Wilson 1up, Jorjah Bailey beating Hunter Gillard 1up and Isaac Roberts defeating Eli Monoghan 2up.
In the lower order, Alexandra Hansen defeated Fletcher Ryan 3&2, Oskar Small beat Matthew Aytlell 3&2 and Jonty Lunson defeated Cayden Hill 2&1.
The sole victory for the South went to Oscar Burrell who defeated Ronan Filgate 4&3.
The North’s Jarryd Battle and South's Kyedon Gruber halved their number four match.
Walk-overs went to the North Hayden Richardson and Ella Murray-Williams.
