North Queensland East for the big win

This year’s competition promised to be one of the most hotly contested Inter Association Teams events in recent memory, with over 80% of players with a handicap of 5 or less converging on om Ipswich Golf Club for the 2-day championship.

The Inter-Association Championship is a team’s event with each District being represented by four players. The total team score is determined by adding the best team score in the Foursomes event, the best team score in the Four-Ball stroke event and the best 3 of the 4 player's scores in the individual stroke event.

The North Queensland East District have won the Queensland Men’s Inter-Association Teams Event with a gross scored of 369 while Darling Downs secured the Nett win with a total of 371.5.
