Leading four matches to one after the first day of foursomes at Thirlstane Golf Club, the Northern team hung on in this morning's matches.
Northern wins went to Jackie Poke, Alexandria Hansen, Sharon Crowden and Lu Proud.
While South's singles wins went to Lindy Goggin, Debbie Taylor and Anne Medlycott, Sue Frith and Sue Richardson.
Southern junior Mackenzie Wilson defeated Sarah Johnstone 3&1 in their number one match.
