News
2016 British Amateur Champion Scott Gregory of England was crowned the 2017 NSW Amateur Champion after a thrilling 36 hole final against fellow countryman Marco Penge.
Gregory, the world number 10, held his nerve over the final holes to see off his opponent with a clutch par on the 36th hole to seal the Championship, one up.
Earlier in the week, NSW State representative Travis Smyth put in a dominant performance to take out medallist honours with a personal best two round score of 14 under par. Sadly due to a prior commitment, Smyth was unable to take part in the match play rounds.
