New South Wales Golf Club is set to host the 2011 NSW Amateur from 31 January – 2 February. The 2009 Australian Open course will host some of the best players from across Australia to compete for the title. Golf Australia Junior Squad member Jake Higginbottom will be defending the title after he accounted for England s Tommy Fleetwood in 2010 final at Royal Sydney Golf Club. Higginbottom, 16, powered to the biggest title of his amateur career so far with a stellar display of golf at the Rose Bay course. Michael Smyth won the title in 2009. www.golfnsw.org
