On behalf of the Golf NSW community, we would like to congratulate our Patron, Her Excellency Professor The Honourable Dame Marie Bashir AD CVO, Governor of NSW, on her appointment as Dame to the Order of Australia.
Dame Marie granted her vice-regal patronage to Women's Golf NSW for the duration of her office in 2002. She continued to support the NSW golfing community by agreeing to become a Patron of Golf NSW, since the merger between Women's Golf NSW and the NSW Golf Association on 1st July 2010.
