NSW jump to first day lead

Click here to view the results from Round 2 Click here to view the results from Round 1 New South Wales leads the Australian Boys Interstate Teams Matches at Alice Springs Golf Club after the opening two rounds on Easter Sunday. The NSW team lost just one of their matches with Dimi Papadatos, Jarrod Freeman and Daniel Yu winning all of their matches in a four matches to one triumph over Queensland in the afternoon following their 3 to 1 win over Western Australia in the morning. Victoria sits in second position and a match behind NSW after their opening rounds against Tasmania and the Northern Territory. Nathan Holman, Geoff Drakeford and Will Hume took Victoria to a 3-2 win over Tasmania with Hume the only Victorian to remain undefeated through both matches. South Australia is in third place after a comprehensive second round win over Western Australia to make up for a morning defeat to Queensland. Cameron Baulderstone was the only South Australian to win both his matches. Tasmania and Queensland share fourth position with five matches won. Cameron Smith, who heads the Australian Boys Amateur Rankings, was undefeated for Queensland. The ACT team, Northern Territory and WA teams complete the leaderboard after the opening two rounds.
