Newcastle Council are making it as easy as possible to attend the NSW Open at Newcastle Golf Club from 16 to 20 November 2011. With a massive signage effort on the freeways and around local roads, spectators will be directed to free parking for the event. There is no parking available for spectators at Newcastle Golf Club. A regular shuttle bus will be active between the parking areas and the golf club. Buses will operate on the following schedule: Thur 17 and Fri 18 Nov Start at Stockton wharf – 8:30am Final departure to carpark/ferry from NGC – 5pm Sat 19 and Sunday 20 Nov Start at Stockton wharf – 7:30am Final departure to carpark/ferry from NGC – 6pm A number of local food and wine businesses will have tastings and other offerings for all spectators in marquees outside the entrance to the golf club.
