NSW take out Boys & Girls School Sport Australia Match Play Events
New South Wales boys have won the Teams Match Play convincingly, going through the round robin format undefeated. Individual stroke winner, Corey Jones was a standout performer for NSW winning all of his matches and later being named captain of the Boys All Australian Team.
Queensland held off South Australia with a strong win, in the fight for second place. Jordie Garner and Isaac Noh (NSW), Joshua Armstrong (ACT), Cameron John (Vic) and Lochlan Coleborn (Qld) were also named in the All Australian Team.
The Girls Team Match Play was a much closer event, with New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria all finishing equal on points. New South Wales won more individual matches and were announced champions for 2015. Stefanie Hall and Amy Chu lead the way for NSW and were named in the All Australian Team. Queensland and Victoria were tied on individual matches and declared joint second place. Kono Matsumoto of Victoria topped off a great week of golf being named captain of the All Australian which also included Chloe Thornton (ACT), Shanaiah Fernando (Vic) and Kirsty Hodgkins (Qld)
