NSWGA seeks Executive Director

New South Wales Golf Association invites expressions of interest for the position of EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR The Executive Director is the Chief Executive Officer of the Association and reports directly to the President and Board of Directors. The NSW Golf Association is the governing body for male amateur golf in New South Wales. On-going discussions are currently taking place with Women’s Golf NSW in regard to the prospect of amalgamating into a joint State body. The NSW Golf Association represents 20 District Golf Associations and 388 affiliated golf clubs and provides a large number of services including tournament administration, rules, handicapping and course rating, golf development, coaching, advice and business development. The successful applicant will be expected to have a strong knowledge and respect for all facets of the game of golf, dynamic leadership skills, demonstrated success in stakeholder management (including Government, Board, Sponsors, Volunteers and Media) and a high level of financial and human resources skills. Experience with the not for profit/community sporting organisations sectors would also be advantageous. The Association s office, with a staff of 11, is located in Arncliffe. An executive salary package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
