The final round of the Summer Meeting has been completed with teams competiting in a fun event of teams v par at Moss Vale GC and Mt Broughton GC.
Moss Vale's winning team were Wakehurst's Lindy Myers, Patricia Humphries, Nina Scardino and Lynne Mather with an amazing score of +10, two strokes ahead of the field. Runners up were Ann Davies (NSW GC), Judith Conley (NSW GC), Yangeun (St. Michael's GC and Pamela Kull (Moss Vale GC) with +8.
At Mt Broughon, the team from Asquith won the day with an amazing score of +9 and only three in their team, Ivy Cheong, Jo Irish and Aubrey Lee. For the runners up prize, there was a four-way countback with the Wakehurst team coming out in front, Jann Reid, Anne Strange, Jenny Knapman and Ann Cameron on +5.

Day 3 of the Summer Meeting is now complete with Division 1 playing at Highlands GC and Division 2 at Mt Broughton GC for the Foursomes component of the event.
Debbie Nunn and Sachiko Cathcart of Wakehurst played well at Highlands to take out the foursomes scratch with a score of 88. Nett winners and locals were Tracee Magrath and Lyle Kite of Highlands GC (24) with an 81 nett, winning by one and a half shots in front of Moss Vale's Kim Parsons and Warringah's Carol Richmond with an 82 1/2 nett.
Over at Mt Broughton, the Asquith pairing of Ivy Cheong and Jo Irish took out the winning nett prize with an 85 1/2 on a countback. Runners up were Kate Skelton and Jan Van Den Broek from Wakehurst on 85 1/2 nett, also winning on a countback from Wendy Hamer (Moss Vale) and Diane Mather (The Coast) with 85 1/2 nett.
Tomorrow players play at Moss Vale or Mt Broughton for the Teams V Par.

Congratulations to Debbie Nunn of Wakehurst for finishing with a strong final round at Bowral to come away with the Open Summer Cup for 2017.
Nunn had a final round score of 80 at Bowral to win the Cup by six shots. Nunn was trailing Reid by one overnight after having a score of 84 at Moss Vale on Monday, for a total of 164.
Jann Reid (11) from Wakehurst GC won the 36-hole nett with a total of 148 to win by three over Keshni Mudaliar (14) from Bingarra Gorge GC.
Daily winners for Division 1 were Joanne Blackburn (23) from Royal Canberra GC with 73 nett and Debbie Nunn (5) runner up with 75 nett on a countback.
Gerringong's Margaret Carveth (30) took out the Kathleen Armstrong Bowl with a total of 58 points, 27 points at Bowral on Monday and 31 points at Highlands today. Carveth won by three points in front of Moss Vale's Christine Norrie (37) on a total of 55 points. In third place and three points behind Norrie was Diane Edwards (28) from Wakehurst with a total of 52 points.
Daily winners for Division 2 were Margaret Carveth (30) of Gerringong with 31 points and Lindy Myers (31) of Wakehurst with 30 points.

Wakehurst's Jann Reid leads Division One going into the final round tomorrow after carding a score of 83 around Moss Vale GC today. Fellow Wakehurst member Debbie Nunn is one stroke behind on 84.
Nett leaders for Division One are Jann Reid (11) with a 72 nett and local Moss Vale member, Kim Parsons (24) with a 74 nett.
In Division Two, local Christine Norrie (36) from Moss Vale had a nice round of 33 points around Bowral today, with North Ryde's Julie Ogilvie (30) having a score of 29 points to be in second place.
Tomorrow Division One play at Bowral and Division Two at Highlands.
The Women’s Summer Meeting is open to female amateurs who hold a current Australian or overseas equivalent handicap. It is held over four days, across a number of courses in the Central Southern Golf Association.
The format is stroke play over 36-holes, 18-holes on day one, and 18-holes on day two (played in two divisions), followed by 18-holes foursomes on day three, and best ball teams v par on day four.
Over 150 participants will play in this years event. Beginning Monday 6 March Division 1 play their first round at Moss Vale GC and Division 2 play at Bowral GC. It promises to be both enjoyable and competitive across both divisions.
