Golf Victoria is excited to announce that the final two rounds of the 2016 Oates Vic Open will be live streamed allowing golf fans from all across the globe access to watch one of the most unique golf tournaments on offer.
The Oates Vic Open live stream will be conducted by Australian Network Productions in conjunction with Videocraft and will cover the final two rounds to be held on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 February.
The coverage will be broadcasted for approximately five hours on each day following all the live action as well as including highlight reels from the opening two rounds of play.
The stream will be available worldwide on a range of different devices. With access on smartphones, tablets, computers and any internet compatible TV, you can catch the 2016 Oates Vic Open out on course, on the go or in the comfort of your own home.
The coverage will feature a line-up of experienced golf commentators anchored by knowledgeable broadcasting trio Andy Maher, Grant Dodd and Ian Cohen. Former VIS athlete and Ladies European Tour player Alison Whittaker will also join the team, bringing fresh insights into life as a touring professional.
Golf Victoria CEO, Simon Brookhouse is pleased to be offering live coverage of the tournament.
“We’re thrilled to be able to deliver live coverage of the event over the weekend in 2016. At the rate the Oates Vic Open has been growing, live coverage feels like a natural progression for the tournament,” said Brookhouse.
“The Oates Vic Open is a golf tournament that is on the tip of everyone’s tongue not only in Australia but right around the world, particularly for its unique format. Iconic golfer Karrie Webb will be competing this year and it’s fantastic we can showcase the talents of Karrie and others such as defending champions Richard Green and Marianne Skarpnord amongst two world class fields of professional golfers.

A number of guest commentators will also join the broadcast including marquee players, Government representatives and tournament officials.

The Oates Vic Open is a sanctioned event on the PGA Tour of Australasia and ALPG Tour.
