Helen Pascoe has continued her fantastic season on the senior tour with a comfortable victory in the women’s field of the Shepparton Senior Amateur.

Pascoe finished with 54 scratch stableford points from the two days play, 21 ahead of her nearest rival.

Pascoe’s win is her fourth for the year and sees her out in front in the overall women’s order of merit.

Kay Barcelon was the overall winner of the women’s stableford section after returning a score of 55 points for the two rounds.

The victory was Barcelon’s second for the year following on from her victory at Bright in the Alpine Senior Masters.

In the men’s section, Ken O’Brien came from two shots behind after day one to take home the title for the first time with a total of 153.

This was O’Brien’s first win of the 2019 season, highlighted by a second round of 74 which included three birdies.

Runner-up to O’Brien was 2018 Doug Bachli order of merit winner Geoff Charnley.

Charnley finished two shots behind O’Brien on a 155 total.

Robert Lee proved the most consistent in the net category, with scores of 73 and 74 for a 147 total.
