At the conclusion of play it was Rossdale local Ken O’Brien who took a stranglehold on the title with a brilliant final round of one under par 70 for a two round total of 142 to run away with the event by five strokes.
O’Brien has been a consistent performer to start the year with a number of high finishes in the Doug Bachli calendar events culminating in today’s deserving victory.
